Plants in Empty bottels: I planted some flowers and Garlic

few months ago i saw a video on youtube in which they were planting some tomato plants in the empty bottles of pepsi and coke. I just copied that idea and tried some garlic in some empty bottles and now I am happy to tell that they are growing smoothly and they are looking so beautiful in those bottles.

did someone tried this idea??

Found some beautiful thyme on a meadow in my holidays, took some und planted it into empty Apple Juice Bottles, until I went home again. Now it has a normal pot.
Important not to forget wholes in the bottom, if you leave it in the bottles.

Hold on... in plastic bottles? Are we talking cut in half bottles or literally full bottles? Garlic and tomato ships in bottles spring to mind :D Be as it may, I have planted herbs in the bottom halves of pop bottles before rather than using proper pots. I didn't the see the point in spending money on those miniature pots that you can only use for what might be a week or two before you have to move the offshoots to a bigger home.

Sorry, ich meinte nur, dass ich fuer Jungpflanzen schon den Boden aus Plastikflaschen verwendet haben, weil ich nicht Geld ausgeben wollte fuer diese kleinen Toepfe. Da wachsen die Sprossen ja innerhalb einer Woche schon raus. Ich habe auch gefragt, ob sie halbe Flaschen verwendet oder die Flaschen ganz bleiben wie bei einem Flaschenschiff :D

Bei mir waren es halb abgeschnittene Flaschen, also Flaschenhals ab, es waren diese pfandfreien A-Saft Minis von Aldi. Die hatten wir zufällig mit bzw. für die Fahrt in den Urlaub gekauft. Boten den Pflanzen und Stecklingen genug Raum, um sie in heimische Gefilde zu bringen und dort umzupflanzen. Allerdings waren sie gut nass, weil wir sie einerseits feucht halten, aber andererseits auch trocken und auslaufsicher im Auto
